A visionary, charismatic and dedicated executive with seventeen (17) years of medical device, drug delivery, biologics and cellular characterization experience with a solid record of transforming fundamental scientific concepts into game-changing, effective and profitable products and services.

Over the last four (4) years as Vice President Strategic Development, Mr. Ronholdt created and directed the implementation of a corporate differentiation strategy that positioned a boutique scientific testing laboratory at the forefront of the emerging biologics/cellular therapy markets with a combination of; market and competitive analyses, strategic alliances, innovative business models as well as directed developed and commercialized a pipeline of high-margin proprietary services.

Prior to his work at LABS Inc., Mr. Ronholdt spent thirteen (13) years in the medical device and drug delivery industries (AlloSource, Sulzer Biologics, Ancea AG, Atrix Pharmaceutical) at various progressive positions from Quality Control Microbiologist and Research Associate to FDA Program Manager and Director of Research and Development. Mr. Ronholdt was responsible for the commercialization of osteobiologic, burn/wound care and sports medicine based implants (510k, HCT/P) as well as the validation and implementation of innovative processing technologies specifically designed to provide the highest level of microbial inactivation without adversely affecting the biomechanical or structural performance of the implants.

Mr. Ronholdt has a strong track record of establishing and expanding intellectual property portfolios while ensuring that each product in the pipeline has a clear competitive advantage that immediately resonates with the target market. He does this by assembling productive, efficient and energized cross-functional project teams.
 
Mr Ronholdt holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology and an Interdisciplinary (Chemical Engineering) Certificate of Emphasis in Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology both from Colorado State University and a Masters in Business Administration with emphasis in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Ronholdt also serves as an adjunct professor at the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology at Colorado State University.
